In 2013, KLM made a commitment to the Good Chicken Award for their ingredient chicken. In 2017 the Good Chicken Award criteria was updated in line with the Better Chicken Commitment with additional asks including use of a slower growing breed and controlled atmosphere stunning which are key to improved welfare. KLM have not yet made a commitment to the Better Chicken Commitment.
