Yanbian Jincunzhang Wild Animal Production Farm uses a traditional black breed which is less likely to suffer stress and less likely to show aggression such as tail-biting. They do not use sow stalls and recently phased out the use of farrowing crates and their sows are kept in bedded pens. Their growing pigs are free-range and they do not need to practise tail docking or tooth clipping.
