We have banned cages for any animal raised for meat production since 2002 and have required all eggs sold in our stores to be cage free since 2004. In addition to requiring cage-free eggs in our kitchens and bakeries since 2005. By working in partnership with our innovative and forward-thinking producers, we are proud to see the industry acknowledge and change the way farm animals are raised. Being a part of this process has been both rewarding and exciting, and we look forward to continuing to set the bar in the industry with our standards.”
