Better Chicken Business Network

The Better Chicken Business Network (BCBN) is the go-to hub for the latest news, events and exclusive content related to the Better Chicken Commitment (BCC).
Designed to address challenges in the broiler supply chain, the BCBN connects companies seeking BCC-compliant suppliers or buyers for their BCC-compliant products.

The BCBN is completely free to join and fosters collaboration by bringing together stakeholders such as producers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers or any other company involved in the broiler chicken supply chain.
It provides a space to share best practices, access resources, and build valuable partnerships, all while supporting ethical trade and compliance.
Participation in the BCBN is flexible, allowing members to engage as much or as little as they wish. Importantly, companies don’t need to be signed up to the BCC to join, and full guidance and resources are available for those aiming to achieve BCC compliance.
Achieving compliance opens doors to business opportunities, including access to new markets for producers and the chance for food companies to demonstrate leadership in ethical sourcing.

BCC Supplier and Distributors
To help food businesses meet Better Chicken Commitment compliance, we’ve published a much-anticipated Supplier and Distributor List – highlighting companies open to supplying or distributing BCC-compliant chicken.
This list showcases those willing to supply or distribute BCC-compliant chicken. It provides visibility of suppliers at different stages of BCC implementation and narrows the pool to those engaged with BCC production. It offers transparency for buyers seeking partners in sourcing higher welfare chicken.
Companies included in the list can use their own public statement or choose from suggested statements:
- We are pleased to discuss supply with companies who want to buy BCC-compliant chicken.
- We commit to supplying BCC-compliant chicken and are pleased to work with current and prospective customers to fulfil this commitment.
- We will supply BCC-compliant chicken and commit to converting XX% of our conventional range to BCC-compliant chicken by [Year].
- We commit to 100% of our chicken supply being compliant with the BCC by [Year].
Early-stage statements might express interest, such as: “We are open to exploring opportunities to supply or distribute BCC-compliant chicken”. Fully committed statements may include: “We are supplying 100% BCC-compliant products”
If you would like to be included on this list, please register your interest.
