We are delighted to announce that our 2024 Good Farm Animal Welfare Awards ceremony will take place on Monday 21st October at the Hyatt Place Paris Charles de Gaulle Aéroport.

This year's Awards ceremony coincides with the renowned SIAL tradeshow which takes place in Paris from October 19-23. With SIAL drawing food industry professionals from across the globe, its proximity offers our Food Business partners a convenient opportunity to attend both events. We look forward to your seeing you there!

As well as celebrating this year’s winners, the ceremony provides a perfect opportunity to network, share learnings and inspire companies to join the movement for a more humane and sustainable food system.

Host and Speaker

We have the pleasure of welcoming one of Compassion's Patrons and advocate for sustainable business practices, the highly successful entrepreneur and investor Deborah Meaden as the host of this year’s ceremony, who said:

The afternoon will showcase international winners’ stories with a keynote speech from Director of the Agriculture & Food Policy Programme at Iddri, Pierre-Marie Aubert. Pierre-Marie will share with us invaluable expertise in landscape ecology and the political economy of food systems.

Time: 15.30-19.00. Registration will open at 3.00pm and the ceremony will start at 3.30pm. The ceremony will close at 7.00pm and will be followed by drinks and networking until 8.30pm.

Free shuttles between the venue and SIAL entrance (RER B station "Parc des Expositions") are available for all attendees
For attendees coming via Eurostar in Gare du Nord: approx. 45 min journey, via taxi or public transport. For public transport, take the RER B from Gare du Nord, direction "Aéroport CDG - Terminal 2 (TGV)”, stop at Parc des Exposition (SIAL), and take the free shuttle.
The venue is approx. 10 min from CDG Airport Terminal 3 and Aéroport CDG - Terminal 2 (TGV)”, stop at Parc des Exposition (SIAL), and take the free shuttle.
The venue is approx. 10 min from CDG Airport Terminal 3 and shuttles can be booked directly.
There are no pre-negotiated discount rates for the Hyatt Place Paris CDG or nearby hotels.
