Katya Sargeant

Katya Sargeant, European Food Business Manager

Katya joined Compassion in World farming in May 2024 as a Food Business Manager.

She completed her BA at the University of Oxford, before studying law and specialising in animal advocacy at the Center for Animal Law Studies (USA).

Prior to joining Compassion, Katya worked in corporate relations at another international animal protection organisation.

Kat is passionate about making a difference for animals and reforming global food systems. She is looking forward to using her knowledge of domestic and international animal protection policy and strategy to support businesses to create tangible and long-term change at scale.
