Rachel Wilson, Food Business Manager (EU)

Rachel is a fourth-generation farmer who brings over a decade of experience in the agricultural industry across Australia and the UK. With a profound understanding of animal welfare and the complexities of farming and food supply chains, Rachel has cultivated a deep appreciation for sustainable agriculture.

Before joining Compassion in World Farming, Rachel was a lecturer at a London-based college, where she guided both young and mature learners through Agriculture and Farm Management certifications, sharing her expertise and passion for the field.

In 2024, Rachel joined the Food Business team as a European Food Business Manager. In this role, she collaborates with food companies to secure commitments for improving animal welfare standards, aiming to create a more ethical and sustainable food system.
